Charles Mann is the President and principal shareholder of PFA. Charles graduated from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, with a degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, and Naval Architecture. He also holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from Gannon University and an MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University. In 1998, he completed a Ph.D. program in Business Administration from California Coast University. Charles obtained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1983. He has terminated his membership and license with the Certified Financial Planners Board of Standards in 2010. He founded Professional Financial Advisors, Inc. in 1983 and sold his Broker-Dealer firm after 26 years. Charles is actively involved in community work and has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations. He has also taught finance and investments courses in Southern California colleges.
